This course combines online classwork as well as a 4 hour hands-on skills session. Topics covered include; tourniquet selection and use, wound packing, and pressure dressings, and building basic ABC kits. Students who complete the course will earn an Advanced Bleeding Control certification through American Safety and Health Institute. Pre- Registration closes a week prior to class date, the online portion must be completed before the skills session.
